Chinese New Year!

Welcome to the Year of the Rabbit! As we celebrate this special holiday, it's a great time to explore the traditions and customs of Chinese culture. One way to get in on the fun is by trying your hand at cooking a traditional Chinese dish. From spicy Szechuan dishes to Cantonese roast meat, there is a wide variety of flavours and ingredients to explore. Not only will you get to enjoy a delicious meal, but you'll also get a taste of Chinese culture. Why not share a photo of your culinary creation with us on our Facebook Page or Instagram: @bsplace.london

If you're wondering which Chinese zodiac animal you are, the year you were born determines your animal sign. If you were born in 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, or 2011, you are a rabbit. Those born under the sign of the rabbit are said to be intelligent, kind, and gentle. They are also known for their good luck and fortune.

In addition to trying new foods and learning about your animal sign, there are many other ways to celebrate Chinese New Year. Red envelopes filled with money are traditionally exchanged between family members, and red decorations are displayed throughout the home. The dragon and lion dance are also popular elements of the holiday, with performers bringing luck and good fortune to their communities. Why not share some photos of your celebrations with us?

So why not embrace the values of kindness and compassion this Chinese New Year, and celebrate with loved ones by trying out a new traditional Chinese dish, discovering your animal sign, and participating in other festive activities?

Happy Chinese New Year!
